My name is Magdellin Chinata, I am 20 and I live in SA. I was born in South Africa and when I was 2 I went to stay in Zim until I was 11 then I came back to SA. Both my parents are Zimbabwean. I am proudly Zimbabwean and not ashamed of it. I love food and I would say I am me and I don’t try to be anything that I’m not.
What made you want to get involved with this?
Well I’ve always told myself that models are skinny and should wear your size 26 and 28 nothing above 30s then realised maybe I can change that perception and give this a try, step outside of my comfort zone a bit.
Where’s is your favourite place to relax?
My favourite place to relax would be my bed, all by myself, no noise, no people just me and my bed.
What 3 words would your friends use to describe you?
Honest, loyal and humble.
What/who do you treasure most in life?
My family and true friends who stick with me through thick and thin.
What is your greatest achievement?
I’m still very young with lots of goals and ambitions, for now I would say standing up for what I believe in and making it out of high school with good results despite all the challenges.
How would you describe your style?
My style describes my personality as a person. When you see my style you see a Magdellin, it’s me and I dress for my body and comfort not to impress.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Hahaha Drinking, I guess.
When are you happiest?.
When I spend time with my boyfriend.
What is the one character trait you dislike in a person?
Judgemental.
What important lesson has life taught you?
Happiness in an inside job. Don’t depend on anyone to be happy.
