What would you say is the best thing about being Zimbabwean?
We endure. I admire business people who’ve stayed and stayed in business, despite how tough things have been. I love walking into shops and seeing things made in Zimbabwe. I love seeing people “making a plan” people who lost their jobs years ago finding a way to stay in the game. I love that most Zimbabweans don’t sit around waiting for a handout, no matter how hopeless the situation seems. I love that we are a hopeful lot.
How would you like to be remembered?
Someone who made great human connections and elevated people closer to realising the fullest version of themselves.
What is the best advice anyone has ever given you?
Respect is not a thing that comes through name, profession or money. Respect is something earned through the things you do and the way you live.
