Zimbabwean singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and recording artist Eden Lang is releasing her Debut Album – ‘From Ashes to Beauty’ – on 30 November 2021.

The album is the fruit of — years of learning, performing, growing, collaborating and creating music. Through soaring melodies, dreamy guitars and emotive raw and honest lyrics Eden explores issues of heartbreak, social justice, self-discovery, and triumph over pain. From ballads to danceable Hope-anthems, this 12-track album reflects the multi-faceted artist in many moods, food for thought and food for the soul.

Eden Lang has grown a loyal international and local fanbase from live shows, performing in Italy and South Africa, and airplay for some of the singles on local and international radio – BBC Radio (UK), Touch FM (Namibia), Power FM, Flavafm, and The People’s Station (Zambia), and local radio stations ZiFM and HeartnSoul Radio (Zimbabwe).
Locally Eden has shared the stage with artists and bands such as Carlo Music, Nick Kuraz, Kelly Rusike, and Fab Ovation, performing at various venues in the capital including Alliance Francais Old Mutual Theatre, Wild Geese Spring Fair and the Zimbabwe German Society. Eden also performs at festivals online with Sessions Live – a platform that features artists like Boyce Avenue (USA) Sean Jones (Grammy Award-winner) and many others.
In this new project release, working alongside Producers such as Nkosilathi Ndlovu (Producer of Netflix’s Harare’s Working Wives Soundtrack), Verseless (Produced Shingai, Mile, ASAPH), and Jesper Hassleberg (Sweden), Eden Lang fills the role of Executive Producer to bring you her best work to date – ‘From Ashes to Beauty.’
“From Ashes to Beauty” is available for streaming and download on November 30, 2021, and Eden will be hosting a release party in support of the launch in the days leading up to that.

As well as being an outstanding songwriter Eden is a digital native and uses animated videos to accompany her music. This has also allowed her to animate music videos for local and international musicians as well. Being mentored by Nathan Stanton (Ex- Pixar Director of Finding Nemo, Walle, Coco), Eden has animated videos and written songs for companies and brands such as Triggerfish (Cape Town) MedOrange Pharmacies, Stanbic Bank, PPC to name a few.
