Where did your passion for music come from?

When I was younger, I found it difficult to express my feelings and every time I would listen to music it was therapeutic for me. I would write my feelings down and turn them into songs.

How would you describe your style of music and which artists have influenced your music the most?

My style of music falls under R&B, EDM, Pop. It is inspired by artists such as Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Sade the list could go on. I’m an old soul when it comes to musical influence (blame my parents they played so much of it when we were kids).

What can we expect from you for the rest of the year?

I had been on ice because we welcomed a new edition to the family. Now I’m back in the studio working on new material and I think this will probably be the hardest project for me in terms of vulnerability (loads to unpack over the last year).

What would you like people to take away from listening to your music?

If my music can help someone get through whatever challenges, they are facing in life then I’ve achieved something. Music is therapy and if it can put a smile on someone’s face to get them through a crappy day or situation then I’ve done my part.

What can’t you live without?

My family if it’s not for them what’s the point.
