Hey, my name is Mutsa Mwale, I am a Style blogger. I am 25 and fabulous. Ohh yeah I am strictly fab.

Why did you become a blogger?

My journey began when I became a mother. I was trying to rediscover myself and blogging gave me an outlet to get to know my body once again. Because I love fashion blogging was also another way I could showcase my style.

Why did you choose to blog about lifestyle and which one of the topics you cover is your favourite and why?

I think lifestyle chose me. Lol but seriously am a lover of everything style, fashion and all the good things in life. Am more passionate empowering women by giving them self-confidence through what they wear. I love writing and taking pictures of classy outfits that makes a woman stand out.

What would you say makes your blog unique?

My blog is an extension of me. What you see and read there is what I am in real-life. That makes everything uniquely me.

What is the one thing you can’t live without?

My phone. I can’t. My phone has my schedule and my whole life. So now you know, if you call me and I don’t pick up. Hahah am kidding.

Apart from blogging, what else do you do?

I own a retailer for handbags called Nhava (translates to handbag in Shona). Also, me and my business partner are about to launch an online store for clothing. I am very much an entrepreneur and also a full-time mother. I need to mention that because that’s a full-time job hey. What do you hope people will take away from reading your blog?

How would you describe your style?

I am forever an evolving masterpiece, but the constant is I am classy, a lil modest and a lot of chicness.

What is your blogging routine like?

Okay so I am like a one man. I take my own pictures, edit them and write my own content. So, on a normal week I find inspiration on a Sunday and also plan my content, outfit, location and also my video content. On a Monday am taking my pictures and editing them. I usually like to have lots of stock pictures, so I plan 2/3 blog post ahead. Tuesday am posting my blog and promoting my content. Wednesday is when I shoot my videos for my YouTube channel. Thursday is YouTube posting day and after that all I do is promote my content. If I got stock videos and pictures, then the whole week is just for posting and promoting.

What advice would you give to someone new to blogging or considering it?

Hmmmm, lets see consistency.  You might not go viral in one post, or maybe you might but if you don’t you need to create your fan base. Consistency will help you achieve that.

Do you follow any bloggers, if so who and why?

Let’s start local. I love Persuasioninczw, Kicking it with Mimi, DeffinatelyShaz and Chantelle from Channigodly.

These ladies have different, but super cool personalities and styles. Internationally am super crazy about Patricia Bright and Shirley B Eniang. Their content is super amazing like a fairy-tale.

If you were to give something up for a year what would it be and why?

I really can’t think of something that I am willing to give up. I want it all except chocolate. You can take that. I can leave without that.

What opportunities have come your way because of blogging?

I had a very cool opportunity to work with Truworths Zimbabwe last year. Was a very humbling experience and allowed me to meet with some amazing women in the fashion industry.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

My mother always says, ‘It will pass’ and every bad situation it passes by.

Looking back 5 years ago, what advice would you give your younger self?

Stay away from the red and blonde hair. Even the red hair. That trend is not for you girl.
